Stillpoint HP · Savannah, Georgia · Est. 2028
Championship Rowing · Eco-Lodge Resort · The Wedgwood Tearoom · Solar Campus
Thomas R Wedgwood — 8th generation descendant of Josiah Wedgwood — brings eight generations of making things that matter from the Staffordshire Potteries to the banks of coastal Georgia.
Founding Narrative
Some places are built from concrete and water. Others are built from conviction — from a long inheritance of making things that matter.
In 1759, Josiah Wedgwood opened his first pottery works in Staffordshire. He built canals, funded schools, campaigned against the slave trade, and created the bone china that became the tea service of Georgian England. His name became synonymous with the highest standards of making.
That inheritance passed through eight generations to Stephen Wedgwood — engineer, conservationist, and solar pioneer — and now to Thomas R Wedgwood — his son — who brings the same twin inheritance to the banks of coastal Georgia. Stillpoint Park is named in his honour.
The lake is engineered with care for the landscape it enters. The solar arrays that power the venue bear his name. The tea grown here carries the family's most enduring association. And in the workshop on the campus island, Catching Light electric launches are built — powered by the sun he loved.
The Venue
The park operates in three distinct modes — each world-class on its own terms — sharing infrastructure, water, and a campus island that functions as both athletic home and destination resort.

Stillpoint Tea · Est. Savannah 1744
In 1744, seeds arrived at the Trust Garden in Savannah — the first attempt at commercial tea cultivation in the Americas. In 1772, the first recorded successful cultivation was on Skidaway Island, just south of the city. Savannah is the literal birthplace of American tea. No other brand can claim this story. Stillpoint Tea does.
"Savannah is the literal birthplace of American tea cultivation — 1744, the Trust Garden. There is no more powerful origin story for an American premium tea brand positioned for the world."

The Enterprises
Each enterprise feeds the others — and every one of them funds the Stillpoint Foundation, putting the next generation of Olympic rowers on championship water.
Weddings & Occasions
The Wedgwood name has appeared on wedding lists for 265 years. Here The Wedgwood Tearoom becomes the centrepiece — an island surrounded by water, a championship rowing course as the view, and a tearoom bearing the family name.
The Stillpoint Solar Array
Solar energy was Stephen Wedgwood's defining passion — the meeting point of his engineering mind and his conservationist conscience. The array that powers this venue bears his name. Savannah's 5.2 peak sun hours per day make it one of the highest-yield solar sites on the East Coast.
Stillpoint Wellness
A full-service wellness retreat and spa set on the water's edge of a championship rowing lake. For athletes, for guests, for anyone who needs to slow down. The water, the woodland, the tea, and the stillness do the work.
Charity · Est. 2028
To find the best rowing talent, fund them to train full time, and put them on Olympic podiums and Henley Royal Regatta start lists. Every Georgia Peach Tea sold, every Catching Light launch built, every wedding celebrated at Stillpoint — contributes to this mission.
"Josiah Wedgwood built businesses to fund social good. The Stillpoint Foundation does the same — on a rowing lake in coastal Georgia, three thousand miles from Staffordshire and two and a half centuries later."
Support the next generation of Olympic rowers. Every contribution — at any level — puts an athlete one session closer to the start line.
The Investment Opportunity
Stillpoint HP is seeking investors, grant bodies, and strategic partners for Stillpoint Park — a world-class rowing destination, eco-lodge resort, tea estate, solar campus, electric launch manufacturer, wellness centre, and occasions venue united under the Stillpoint name and 265 years of Wedgwood heritage.
